Development Officer, The Pittsburgh Foundation

Sara Swaney joined The Pittsburgh Foundation and The Community Foundation of Westmoreland County teams as a development officer in Oct. 2021. She works with the advisor population in both regions to help clients create philanthropic plans. Before joining the Foundation, Sara spent four years with 412 Food Rescue where she led fundraising and engagement. Including time at Westmoreland County Food Bank and The Salvation Army, Sara brings more than 12 years of fundraising experience in the Pittsburgh region to her role.
